The Everglades Hotel proved the ideal venue for our workshop.  The conference room was very well laid out and suited our needs perfectly, the food was excellent throughout our stay and I know everyone found it difficult to tear themselves away from those oh so comfortable beds! 

Beautiful rooms and delicious food aside, it takes a team of great people to ensure a welcoming, warm and relaxing environment.  I really want to make particular reference to the staff at the Everglades, all of whom fully embrace the giant spirit of welcome and hospitality.  Every staff member we encountered greeted us with a smile and all were very attentive to our needs; nothing was too much trouble for them.  You have a wonderful team who obviously take great pride in their work, well done to all; they are great ambassadors for the Hastings Brand and Northern Ireland.

We have recently just run an important event and wanted to express our thanks to the team at Everglades. From the initial booking, accessibility for disabled people, through to planning the event and then running it, the experience has been exemplary. The attention to detail, warmth and helpfulness of staff, great customer service, excellent facilities and  delicious food made it a perfect venue. If you want to run a super event, look no further as would happily recommend Everglades – indeed the best I have experienced for a very long time!

Everglades Hotel has provided excellent support throughout the entire booking procedure and delivery of our event. The hotel Event Manager, Catrina, has been really helpful, from our initial enquiry, to arranging a visit to the venue and providing consistent support and advice throughout the planning stages. Having worked with our organisation before, they had a good understanding of our requirements and were accommodating of all changes and requests. The entire team were well-briefed and maintained a friendly and professional approach at all times – no task was too difficult which helped the event to run smoothly. The attitude of the venue helped to ensure our event was a success and both delegates and our staff team thoroughly enjoyed the conference. I would highly recommend Everglades Hotel, Londonderry to anyone looking for a high-quality conference venue in Northern Ireland!

‘The Hastings Everglades Hotel has formed a great relationship with the largest local newspaper in the North-West area, the Derry Journal.  Indeed, for the past four years, the well-sited hotel located on the Prehen Road, has been hosting the Journal’s prestigious “People of the Year” Awards, the event considered one of the biggest community events in the North West area.  Having been very impressed with not only the quality of the food served on the night but fabulous dining room in the Everglades blends in perfectly with what is considered very much a community occasion.  The facilities on offer at the Everglades have been boosted not only by the newly refurbished suites but by state of the art lighting, television and audio arrangements which form an integral part of the awards evening.  In addition, waiter services to the bar are also much appreciated by the ‘Journal’ awards organisers, professional staff attending to seated guests a major plus.  In short, the Everglades events team never disappoint during the planning of our functions; their attention to detail is always impressive; their attentive staff on the evening exude a friendly and welcoming atmosphere at what remains an idyllic Waterside venue’.

‘The Everglades Hotel offers one of the best venues in the country for an event that demands precision, quality and professionalism. Deciding to choose here to host such a poignant event in their ballroom was confirmed by the commitment and vision of their corporate events team. Our expectations were superseded by the presentation of the food, the Ballroom and attention to detail that every member of staff displayed. Afterwards, we were inundated with thanks from guests of our Gala Ball for hosting such a great event, but it truly could not have been made possible except for the team at the Everglades.  

The management team shared our vision for making the night special.  I look forward to working with them in the near future. ‘

‘We worked with Neil Devlin and his team at the Everglades Hotel when organising the launch night of the Ryan McBride Foundation. Neil met with us at the outset and guided us through the event planning process and was on hand to answer any queries that we had. The night itself was a tremendous success with a four course sit down meal in the new ballroom, an after-dinner speech from Johnny Giles, entertainment from May McFettridge and music from Phil Coulter and Damien McGinty. We couldn’t recommend Neil and his team enough and have already booked our event next year with the Everglades Hotel’
